PROTEI helped Telecom Namibia to perform urgent SCP upgrade

Flexibility and deep experience in signaling protocols gives PROTEI an ability to added a new country into its deployments map. Answering urgent demands of Telecom Namibia in SCP modernization, PROTEI successfully and in short timelines performed installation, integration and putting into commercial operation its SCP.

The most complicated task was to perform integration with existing BSS supplier as soon as it was needed to implement specific Diameter dialect, ensure its compatibility with OCS and test all live call processing scenarios in a very tough term. Having its own protocol stacks for all telecom protocols, PROTEI specialists implemented the task in required timeline and with appropriate quality that allowed incumbent Namibian telco to keep proper level of service for its mobile customers.

PROTEI SCP is one of bestsellers in PROTEI product line. It may be deployed in both fixed and mobile networks, implementing the widest range of services, from real-time charging to complicated MVPN and/or customized call processing services. Being equipped with service creation environment, PROTEI SCP allows its customer not only to implement the service but to adopt it to particular customer needs.

At the moment about 20 operators in 11 countries are maintaining this platform. PROTEI is thanking Telecom Namibia for its trust and hopes for further cooperation development.
