Interaction with Operator infrastructure

PROTEI GMSC can be connected to other nodes of the Operator by via Ethernet interfaces or via E1 trunks. Transmission of TCAP transactions can be done by means of protocol stack Ethernet/SIGTRAN/M3UA or MTP/SCCP/TCAP.

Management of voice calls is done by means of protocol stack SIP(SIP-I/SIP-T). Protocol CAP of version v1.3 is supported.

Administration and maintenance

PROTEI GMSC supports remote administration and control through a modem connection or a Telnet session over secure connection TCP/IP/SSH. Also a WEB-based technical maintenance system can be used.

SNMP protocol is supported for the purposes of emergency indication and collection of statistics information.

Scalability, performance and licensing of the system

PROTEI GMSC is an operator-class solution that supports horizontal scaling according to growing demands of the Operator. Modular structure of the system ensures high reliability and efficient scalability according to growing demands of the Operator and increased popularity of services.

If system load exceeds the capacity (specific productivity) of one module, several modules are included in the system configuration in load sharing mode.
